Using the site
talentsforever.com is free to use. There is no account, no sign-up and nothing to buy. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
You are welcome to browse it, build on it, save builds, and share build links anywhere you like. What is not welcome is trying to break it: scraping it hard enough to knock it over, hammering it with automated requests, or using it to get at anyone else's data. Please do not do those.
The data, and reusing it
The talent, racial, Legacy and spellbook data the site publishes is licensed Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. You may copy it, change it and use it commercially, including in your own tool, addon, guide or video, as long as you credit Talents Forever with a link. You can take it as JSON from talentsforever.com/data.json or per class from /export/<class>.json.
The licence covers the site's own work of reading, checking and arranging that data. It does not cover Blizzard's material.
The game belongs to Blizzard
World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: Forever, and all spell names, tooltip text, icons and art shown here are the property of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. They are shown for reference under fair use. This site is fan-made. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. Everything here comes from a beta client, and a beta changes. Numbers can be wrong, a build can be rebalanced overnight, and a page can be out of date between a beta build landing and it being checked. Do not treat anything here as final, and please check in game before you spend real time on it.
The site cannot be held liable for anything that follows from using it or the data, and there is no promise that it will be up, complete or correct at any given moment. If you spot something wrong, say so and it will be checked and fixed, with credit to you.
Builds you save and share
Saved builds live in your own browser, not on a server. A share link carries the build inside the link itself, so anyone you send it to can open that build. Do not put anything private in a link, because there is nothing private about it.
The site's own tally
The site keeps a small first-party tally of how often pages and builds are opened, shared and saved. That is what feeds Popular builds. It counts events only. It sets no cookie and stores no address, no id and nothing that could identify you. Third-party analytics and ads are a separate matter and are described on the privacy page, which is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change as the site changes. The date at the bottom says when they were last touched. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
