Questions
- How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?
- 51 at level 60: one a level from level 10 to 60, the count the calculator starts from. The account-wide Legacy perk Talented moves the first points earlier (5 ranks: You gain talent points every level starting at level 5 instead of starting at level 10, but you still may not have more than 51 total talent points.)
- What level is the WoW Forever beta capped at?
- Level 30, which is 21 talent points; the cap at 30 came with beta build 70170 on 1 October 2026 (the site's changelog).
- When does WoW Forever release?
- 4 November 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST, in Blizzard's pre-purchase post. The beta opened on 17 September 2026 and runs until 21 October 2026. Blizzard's post.
- What time does WoW Forever launch?
- On 4 November 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST, which is 6:00 p.m. Eastern and 23:00 UTC, one global launch for every region (Blizzard News, the Collector's Edition post updated 24 September 2026). Blizzard's post.
- When does the WoW Forever beta end?
- 21 October 2026, two weeks before the game launches on 4 November 2026 (Blizzard's pre-purchase post). Today the beta is capped at level 30. Blizzard's post.
- When do you get your first talent point in WoW Forever?
- At level 10, as in Classic, and then one every level to 60. With the Legacy perk Talented at max rank the first point comes at level 5.
- How do you respec talents in WoW Forever?
- At a class trainer in one of the major cities, and Legacy talents are changed there too (Blizzard's class deep dive, 30 September 2026). In the beta: If you have not recently changed your talents, the cost is now 1 silver to re-spec. This is temporary for the Beta only. After your first talent reset, the subsequent cost will be much higher, but it will drop to 1 silver after 1 hour has passed. That is Blizzard's development note for build 70009 (24 Sep 2026). Neither post gives the price at launch. Blizzard's class deep dive. The note.
- What level is dual spec in WoW Forever?
- Level 40. Blizzard's class deep dive for Priest and Warrior (30 September 2026) says Dual Specialization becomes available at level 40. The beta is capped at level 30, so no beta character can reach it yet; the talent window's locked Secondary tab was seen at BlizzCon (the site's changelog, 13 September 2026). Blizzard's post.
- How do you share or save a build?
- In any class calculator, Copy link puts the build in the address bar (the ranks and the order you placed the points in travel with it), Save keeps it on your device under a name, up to 500 builds, and every build on the popular and leveling pages opens with one click. Open a calculator.
- Is there a WoW Forever leveling addon that follows a build in game?
- Yes. The free Talents Forever addon shows a build from this site in the game's talent window and follows it as you level, with a plan kept per class. It is on CurseForge; the addon page says how to install it. The addon page.
- Where is the leveling order for each class?
- On each class's leveling page: the order people place their talent points in, level by level, read from the builds planned on this site. The leveling hub links all nine. Leveling builds for every class.
- Which classes can tank in WoW Forever?
- Three classes train a single-target taunt: the Warrior (Defensive Stance at level 10 and Taunt at level 10), the Druid (Bear Form at level 10 and Growl at level 10, Dire Bear Form at 40) and the Paladin (Seal of Fury, a seal new in WoW Forever trained at level 10: judging it taunts the target for 4 sec; Righteous Fury at 16). Shamans have threat tools but no single-target taunt: Stoneclaw Totem (level 8) taunts nearby creatures, and Earth Shock and Rockbiter Weapon add threat. Read from the beta client's spellbooks (build 1.60.1.70170). Every class's new and changed abilities.
