Arcane, Fire and Frost, 54 talents in all. Arcane: 18 talents, Arcane Power at the bottom (row 7, 30 points in; level 40, or 35 with the Legacy perk Talented at max rank); 1,690 of the 6,644 Mage builds with 41 or more points (26%) lead there. What is the Mage leveling build in WoW Forever?

What races can be a Mage in WoW Forever?

When do Mages get Arcane Power, Combustion and Ice Barrier?

At level 40 with points from level 10, or 35 with the Legacy perk Talented at max rank: each is row 7 of its tree, 30 points in. Later ranks of Ice Barrier are trained at 46, 52 and 58 (spellbook, build 70170). Every Mage talent in words.

Do Mages get a Water Elemental in WoW Forever?

Not in the beta. Water Elemental is not among the 54 Mage talents or in the Mage spellbook of the beta client, build 1.60.1.70170; the client builds since then (70205, 70235 and 70245) changed no data table. The Frost tree's new talents are Ice Lance and Fingers of Frost. Every Mage talent in words.

Was the Mage buffed or nerfed in WoW Forever?

Some of each, going by the files. Lower: most spells start from lower base damage (Fireball, Pyroblast and Scorch about 25 to 35% at most ranks, Frostbolt up to 27% at rank 5 and 11% at the top rank), Cone of Cold slows 40% for 6 sec instead of 50% for 8, and Improved Blizzard slows 15% instead of 30% at rank 1. Higher: early ranks take a bigger share of spell power (Fireball rank 1, 42.9% against 12.3%), Arcane Intellect lasts an hour instead of 30 minutes, Arcane Brilliance reaches the raid, and Frostfire Bolt, Ice Lance and Arcane Blast are new. Mage or Warlock in WoW Forever?

On this site, since the Oct 1 patch (build 70170): 12,409 Warlock builds with 41 or more points and 6,644 Mage builds with 41 or more points, counted by this site's own counter, no identities, last on 7 Oct 2026. The spec planned most: Demonology for Warlocks (39%), Frost for Mages (42%). Mage since Classic: 6 new talents, 31 changed, 4 moved, 1 gone; 5 new spells, among them Ice Lance, Arcane Blast and Frostfire Bolt, 10 reworked. Warlock since Classic: 18 new talents, 31 changed, 1 moved, 16 gone; 3 new spells, among them Incinerate, Bane of Havoc and Wrack, 22 reworked. The game's questions

How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?

51 at level 60: one a level from level 10 to 60, the count the calculator starts from. The account-wide Legacy perk Talented moves the first points earlier (5 ranks: You gain talent points every level starting at level 5 instead of starting at level 10, but you still may not have more than 51 total talent points.)

What level is the WoW Forever beta capped at?

Level 30, which is 21 talent points; the cap at 30 came with beta build 70170 on 1 October 2026 (the site's changelog).

When does WoW Forever release?

4 November 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST, in Blizzard's pre-purchase post. The beta opened on 17 September 2026 and runs until 21 October 2026. Blizzard's post.

When do you get your first talent point in WoW Forever?

At level 10, as in Classic, and then one every level to 60. With the Legacy perk Talented at max rank the first point comes at level 5.

How do you respec talents in WoW Forever?

At a class trainer in one of the major cities, and Legacy talents are changed there too (Blizzard's class deep dive, 30 September 2026). In the beta: If you have not recently changed your talents, the cost is now 1 silver to re-spec. This is temporary for the Beta only. After your first talent reset, the subsequent cost will be much higher, but it will drop to 1 silver after 1 hour has passed. That is Blizzard's development note for build 70009 (24 Sep 2026). What level is dual spec in WoW Forever?

Level 40. Blizzard's class deep dive for Priest and Warrior (30 September 2026) says Dual Specialization becomes available at level 40. The beta is capped at level 30, so no beta character can reach it yet; the talent window's locked Secondary tab was seen at BlizzCon (the site's changelog, 13 September 2026). Blizzard's post.

How do you share or save a build?

Is there a WoW Forever leveling addon that follows a build in game?
