Shaman questions
- What are the three Shaman talent trees in WoW Forever?
- Elemental, Enhancement and Restoration, 50 talents in all. Elemental: 16 talents, Lava Burst at the bottom (row 7, 30 points in; level 40, or 35 with the Legacy perk Talented at max rank); 6,668 of the 24,580 Shaman builds with 41 or more points (27%) lead there. Enhancement: 18 talents, Rage of the Farseer at the bottom (row 7, 30 points in; level 40, or 35 with the Legacy perk Talented at max rank); 13,649 of the 24,580 Shaman builds with 41 or more points (56%) lead there. Restoration: 16 talents, Riptide at the bottom (row 7, 30 points in; level 40, or 35 with the Legacy perk Talented at max rank); 4,263 of the 24,580 Shaman builds with 41 or more points (17%) lead there. Every Shaman talent in words.
- Which Shaman spec do most people play in WoW Forever?
- Enhancement. 13,649 of the 24,580 Shaman builds with 41 or more points planned here (56%) lead in Enhancement, 6,668 in Elemental and 4,263 in Restoration, counted since the Sep 24 patch (build 70009). The build ranked first by what people did with it (shared, saved, opened by link, made or viewed) is Enhancement Shaman 18/33/0. Counted by this site's own counter, no identities, last on 7 Oct 2026. The most popular Shaman builds.
- What is the Shaman leveling build in WoW Forever?
- 60.5% of the 92,446 Shaman builds with a recorded order lead in Enhancement, starting with Thundering Strikes, Mental Dexterity and Improved Ghost Wolf at levels 10 to 19. The Shaman leveling page has the order level by level, from the builds made between 18 Sep and 6 Oct 2026. The Shaman leveling order.
- What races can be a Shaman in WoW Forever?
- 5: Orc, Tauren, Troll, Skyborne (Windshaper) and Dwarf. The Shaman races page has every racial in full. The Shaman races.
- When do Shamans get Lava Burst, Rage of the Farseer and Riptide?
- At level 40 with points from level 10, or 35 with the Legacy perk Talented at max rank: each is row 7 of its tree, 30 points in. Later ranks of Lava Burst and Riptide are trained at 50 and 60 (spellbook, build 70170). Every Shaman talent in words.
- Can a Shaman tank in WoW Forever?
- None of the three trees is a tank tree, but Enhancement has the pieces. Spirit Weapons (20 points into Enhancement, so it can be the 21st point at the level 30 beta cap) gives a chance to parry and increases all threat generated by 30% while Rockbiter Weapon is active. Anticipation adds up to 6% dodge, Toughness up to 10% Stamina, and Improved Stormstrike resets Stormstrike's cooldown when you dodge or parry. Shield Specialization, Classic's block talent, is gone. Read from the beta client's talent data. Spirit Weapons, Anticipation and Toughness.
- Can Shamans dual wield in WoW Forever?
- Nothing seen in the beta teaches it yet. Dual Wield is not in the Shaman spellbook of the beta client (build 1.60.1.70170; builds 70205, 70235 and 70245 changed no data table), and no Shaman talent, trainer row or tooltip grants it. No one has reported trying an off-hand yet, so treat it as untested, not ruled out. Two-Handed Axes and Maces left the tree because two-handed axes and maces are baseline now (Blizzard's Enhancement Short, 1 Oct 2026). Two-Handed Axes and Maces in the Shaman guide.
The game's questions
- How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?
- 51 at level 60: one a level from level 10 to 60, the count the calculator starts from. The account-wide Legacy perk Talented moves the first points earlier (5 ranks: You gain talent points every level starting at level 5 instead of starting at level 10, but you still may not have more than 51 total talent points.)
- What level is the WoW Forever beta capped at?
- Level 30, which is 21 talent points; the cap at 30 came with beta build 70170 on 1 October 2026 (the site's changelog).
- When does WoW Forever release?
- 4 November 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PST, in Blizzard's pre-purchase post. The beta opened on 17 September 2026 and runs until 21 October 2026. Blizzard's post.
- What time does WoW Forever launch?
- On 4 November 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST, which is 6:00 p.m. Eastern and 23:00 UTC, one global launch for every region (Blizzard News, the Collector's Edition post updated 24 September 2026). Blizzard's post.
- When does the WoW Forever beta end?
- 21 October 2026, two weeks before the game launches on 4 November 2026 (Blizzard's pre-purchase post). Today the beta is capped at level 30. Blizzard's post.
- When do you get your first talent point in WoW Forever?
- At level 10, as in Classic, and then one every level to 60. With the Legacy perk Talented at max rank the first point comes at level 5.
- How do you respec talents in WoW Forever?
- At a class trainer in one of the major cities, and Legacy talents are changed there too (Blizzard's class deep dive, 30 September 2026). In the beta: If you have not recently changed your talents, the cost is now 1 silver to re-spec. This is temporary for the Beta only. After your first talent reset, the subsequent cost will be much higher, but it will drop to 1 silver after 1 hour has passed. That is Blizzard's development note for build 70009 (24 Sep 2026). Neither post gives the price at launch. Blizzard's class deep dive. The note.
- What level is dual spec in WoW Forever?
- Level 40. Blizzard's class deep dive for Priest and Warrior (30 September 2026) says Dual Specialization becomes available at level 40. The beta is capped at level 30, so no beta character can reach it yet; the talent window's locked Secondary tab was seen at BlizzCon (the site's changelog, 13 September 2026). Blizzard's post.
- How do you share or save a build?
- In any class calculator, Copy link puts the build in the address bar (the ranks and the order you placed the points in travel with it), Save keeps it on your device under a name, up to 500 builds, and every build on the popular and leveling pages opens with one click. Open a calculator.
- Is there a WoW Forever leveling addon that follows a build in game?
- Yes. The free Talents Forever addon shows a build from this site in the game's talent window and follows it as you level, with a plan kept per class. It is on CurseForge; the addon page says how to install it. The addon page.
- Where is the leveling order for each class?
- On each class's leveling page: the order people place their talent points in, level by level, read from the builds planned on this site. The leveling hub links all nine. Leveling builds for every class.
